$10,000 paid in four yearly installments of $2,500 each. Proof of course registration is needed to receive the first installment of the award. To continue receiving payments, proof of course registration for each ensuing semester and documentation of passing grades (transcripts) is needed.
One award offered annually.
The Anne Ford Scholarship is given to a high school senior with an identified learning disability who is pursuing an undergraduate degree. Financial need will be strongly considered. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. The scholar must be willing to mentor future scholars and act as a role model for people with a learning disability through such activities as public speaking, writing for publications, and other opportunities made possible through NCLD. *Please note: Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD) alone is not considered a learning disability; eligible candidates with ADD/ADHD must also provide documentation of a specific learning disability.
