Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must reside in Middletown, Ohio.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must be in the top 25% of his/her graduating class by grade point average.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.
  6. Must plan to attend a public college or university in Ohio.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for Middletown Ohio area high school seniors who are in the top 25% of their class by grade point average and score above average on the SAT or ACT. Applicants must be accepted to or planning to enroll in a public college or university in Ohio.

Additional Information: This award is provided in honor of Arthur Harvey, a local industrialist and leader in the paper boxboard industry in Middletown from the 1920's to the 1940's. As a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Harvey highly valued education. To that end, he personally assisted many Middletown area students who needed funding to pursue their own aspirations of higher education. To keep this spirit alive, the family has established a trust fund to assist Middletown area high school seniors who demonstrate above-average academic potential.

Award Amount: $500 to $2,500 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

To be considered for this award, students must submit an online application form, including the personal information section, family information, and financial information. In addition, the student must also submit a copy of his/her most recent high school transcripts including SAT/ACT scores, and a resume detailing work experience and/or community service participation. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted online by the deadline date.
