The Ashley Foundation
$1,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years at the recipient's choice. The scholarship will be paid directly to the college or university selected by the recipient. The awarding of a scholarship is dependent upon the recipient complying with scholarship guidelines and the availability of funding.

This scholarship, awarded in memory of Ashley Elizabeth Tamburri, serves to encourage graduating seniors who are cancer survivors or are currently coping with a cancer diagnosis to pursue an educational goal. Scholarships are awarded based on the essay submitted with the application. The scholarship committee is looking for applicants who best exemplify the following in their essays: the life values and career goals of Ashley Tamburri, and a desire to use their cancer experience to help others coping with a life-threatening or life-altering event. *Please note: The scholarship is not based upon financial need or scholastic ability. Scholarships will be awarded on or before April 30 each year. Scholarship recipients must agree to have their name, photo and essay published in various media utilized by the foundation. The scholarships are not awarded to children of foundation board members and to others who may not be eligible due to affiliation with The Ashley Foundation.
