Number of Awards & Eligibility: Five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior at time of application. Only first-year students are eligible to apply.
  3. Must plan to attend Babson College in Massachusetts.
  4. Must have earned top grades in honors, advanced, and International Baccalaureate coursework.
  5. Must rank in the top 5 percent of his/her class.

Description: This full-tuition scholarship is available for U.S. and international first-year students who plan to attend Babson College in Massachusetts. Students must have a straight-A average and rank in the top 5 percent of their class to be competitive.

Additional Information: At the #1 school for entrepreneurship and the top-ranked small, private business college, attaining excellence and inspiring others is a common goal - not only for BC, but for its students. Weissman Scholars will be the recipients of Babson's most comprehensive and prestigious scholarship. Selection for the Weissman Scholarship will be based on the following criteria: academic excellence and intellectual passion; great distinction in leadership activities; and strength of vision for how his/her goals can be fulfilled at Babson with the support of the Weissman Scholarship Program. Six features of the Weissman Scholarship are: intellectual inquiry; leadership and teamwork; extraordinary internships; global citizenship; entrepreneurial spirit; and mentoring and networking. Award Amount: Full tuition, renewable for three additional years. For scholarship renewal, students will be required to earn a 3.3 cumulative grade point average by the end of each academic year, fulfill all program requirements, and demonstrate a commitment to assuming leadership roles at Babson and beyond. Tuition is approximately $50,000 per year. Tuition cost includes the use of a laptop.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $250,000.
