Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to 60 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be 21 years of age or younger.
  4. Must be a high school senior or a first-time, incoming college freshman.
  5. Must reside in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.
  6. Must plan to enroll full time in college for the upcoming academic year.

Additional Information: Only the first 1,000 applications from each eligible state will be acknowledged and considered for an award.

Award Amount: $1,000, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Additional information regarding this program is not available on the provider's website. The student must complete the paper application, which includes the following: the student's address and contact information; the student's parent or guardian information; information on the student's prospective college; work experience; a listing of activities, awards and honors; a short essay response on the student's educational plans and long-term goals; a short response explaining any unusual or personal circumstances that may have affected the student's achievement in school, work, or community service activities; a listing of other scholarships awarded; and a detailed listing of the student's parental financial information. In addition to the application, the student must also submit his/her most recent transcript. All materials must be mailed to the address provided by the deadline date.
