Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be currently enrolled in a four-year college or university in the United States.
  4. Must have a career interest in the legal or criminal justice fields.
  5. Must be majoring or actively pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: criminal justice, pre-law studies, English, history, political science, journalism, communications.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Application requirements for the Christopher W. Keyser Undergraduate Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Keyser Law, P.A. created the Christopher W. Keyser Scholarship Program to provide financial support to students working towards a career in the legal field. The Christopher W. Keyser Scholarship Committee will review all applications and notify the winning recipient by email in August.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application information is available online on the Keyser Law, P.A. website. Please note: There is no application form required for this award. To apply, the student must write an essay of 2,000 to 3,000 words on one of the topics posted on the website. The topics relate to criminal justice, law, and immigration. The student must also include a cover letter containing the following information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, college or university in attendance, and major. The essay and cover letter must be emailed or mailed using the contact information provided. If emailed, the documents must be in Word document format. Essays submitted under any other file type will not be considered. Completed applications must be submitted by email no later than the deadline date.
