Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on funding.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student to apply for this undergraduate award.
  3. Must be a current student at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) - Hyde Park.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. undergraduate students enrolled at CIA-Hyde Park are eligible for this award. Students must compete in FIRST Robotics Competitions and FIRST Tech Challenges.

Additional Information: The purpose of FIRST is to inspire young people to be leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills; encourage innovation; and foster well-rounded life skills including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. FIRST hosts leading robotics competitions for children and young adults. This scholarship is available to students who compete in FIRST Robotics Competitions and FIRST Tech Challenges.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, renewable for up to three years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.
