Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. All international students who are accepted to Concordia College are considered for a scholarship.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international students.
  2. Must enroll full time.
  3. Must attend or plan to attend Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Description: International freshmen enrolling full time at Concordia College in Minnesota are eligible for this award. Each student who is admitted to Concordia College will be considered for an award.

Application requirements for the Concordia College International Student Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • TOEFL/IELTS scores
  • Cert. of Finances
Additional Information: The following requirements must be satisfied before a final decision can be made on an application to Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota: a high level of scholarship (official credentials must show evidence of exceptional academic achievement and promise of success) and excellent English (students from countries other than the United States are expected to assume a regular course load at Concordia College. This is not possible without an excellent working knowledge of the English language). Students are considered for an award based on academic ability and family need. Financial assistance from Concordia may only be received for four academic years (or the equivalent) and is restricted to on-campus study.

Award Amount: Up to $25,000 annually, renewable for three years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $100,000.
