Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund
Up to $500 per semester, non-renewable. Students must reapply for each semester that funding is sought. Scholarships may be used for tuition, books, utility bills, car maintenance, childcare, or any other financial need.
The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of qualified applicants.
The purpose of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund is to provide supplemental financial assistance to those single parents who are pursuing a course of instruction which will improve their income-earning potentials. The scholarships are made possible by private donations. Any applicant who has already earned an undergraduate degree is not eligible for this award, with the exception of those pursuing a Master of Arts in teaching.
