  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must attend an accredited four-year college or university.
  3. Must possess an active amateur radio license (any class).

Additional Information: The Dayton Amateur Radio Association Scholarship is provided to U.S. students who have an active amateur radio license. Recipients are typically notified by mid-May by USPS mail and email.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,500.

Applications are available on the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Foundation website. Applications must be completed online. Students need only submit one application for all scholarships for which they are eligible. The student must provide contact information for one educational reference, one character reference, and one social reference on the online application. The student must also submit a copy of his/her academic transcript from his/her most recently completed school year to the email address provided. The transcript must be scanned and submitted as a PDF.
