Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome.
  2. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.

Description: This award is for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who have been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Additional Information: This scholarship is awarded per year to a deserving student with Tourette Syndrome who will be attending college. The scholarship funds will be applied to cover tuition costs, books and fees and will be in the form of a check made jointly to the accredited institution and the student.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Diamantis TS Scholarship Family Foundation, Inc. website using the link provided.To be considered for this award, students must submit the following items: a completed application form; official and sealed transcripts from the applicant's current academic institution; an original letter, on letterhead and signed by a neurologist, confirming the diagnosis of Tourette's Syndrome; and three letters of reference from the listed individuals, not exceeding one page in length each.Students must also submit an simple, personal video describing his/her goals for college and career. The video must be uploaded to Youtube and a link to the page must be included on the typed application form.Section five of the application requires the student to submit short personal statements in response to a series of prompts concerning personal and professional goals. Sections six and seven detail all requirements for signatures, promissions, and submission instructions.All applications and supporting documents must be received by the deadline date.
