Awards range from $2,500 to $10,000. Students may choose to have this amount disbursed in a lump sum or over a period of several years. If the student chooses to have the funds disbursed over a period of several years, he/she must maintain a 'C' grade point average in order to remain eligible for the funds.
Up to four awards offered annually.
This program is primarily designed for the so-called 'average' student. It is for the individual who may never have made the honor roll or who didn't excel on the athletic field, but who sincerely wants to obtain a higher education, but is often overlooked by other scholarship sources. Finalists may be contacted by one or more members of the FACT Scholarship Committee for a personal interview. Winners will be chosen from among the finalists based on need.
