Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  3. Must be an incoming or current undergraduate or graduate student. Students may be pursuing any type of postsecondary training or education (e.g., certificate, degree, etc.).
  4. Must enroll on a half-time (six credits) basis or higher.
  5. Must reside in Franklin County, Vermont, and have graduated from a Franklin County high school.
  6. Must demonstrate academic achievement with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Description: This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who reside in Franklin County, Vermont, and graduated from a Franklin County high school. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and must demonstrate financial need.

Additional Information: Mrs. Olive Wilcox created this scholarship to honor the memory of her husband, Franklin Horace Isham. Please note: This scholarship is funded by an endowment subject to laws restricting disbursements under certain investment yield scenarios; as a result, there can be no guarantee of a scholarship award for the upcoming academic year. Applicants must attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding, and must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on academic achievement, financial need, and application documents.

Award Amount: Up to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
