In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must be majoring in architecture, architectural design, landscape architecture, or interior design.

Description: The Houzz Residential Design Scholarship is available for U.S. students who are majoring in architecture, architectural design, landscape architecture, or interior design, and intending to pursue a career in residential construction. Applicants must submit an online application and create a Houzz student profile to be considered for this award.

Additional Information: The Houzz Residential Design Scholarship seeks to support the next generation of students majoring in architecture, architectural design, landscape architecture, or interior design. Award selection will be based on academic performance, essay responses, and the quality & completeness of the applicant's Houzz student profile.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.

Applications and information about this scholarship are available online at the Houzz website. To apply for an award, applicants must first create a free student profile on the Houzz site. This profile is a factor in scholarship selection, so it is advised that students take time to complete the entire profile. Once the profile has been completed, applicants must submit the online application form that includes a link to the student profile, academic information about the applicant, and a short word response of up to 400 words on the specified topic. All applications must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
