Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student during the upcoming academic year.

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. students who are currently enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate or graduate program. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must submit an original essay on the benefits of using solar power.

Additional Information: The scholarship is designed to reward those students who excel academically and demonstrate a passion for alternative power. Disbursement of funds will abide by the procedures set out by the recipient's college or university.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
