Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or as a straight ally dedicated to LGBT causes.
  4. Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application.
  5. Must be a resident of one of the following states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana or Alaska.
  6. Must have a medical disability.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for students from Washington State who have faced significant barriers to their educational pathways including learning disabilities or lack of familial or financial support to pursue an educational goal. Applicants must identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or as a straight ally dedicated to LGBT equality and advocacy.

Application requirements for the Jabez Legacy Scholarship are:

Additional Information: All scholarships emphasize demonstrated commitment to human and civil rights for all people.

Award Amount: Awards typically range from between $500 and $12,000 annually and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $12,000.
