In creating this scholarship program, the donors chose to support students from Johnson County to promote the positive impact that higher education can have in enhancing the economic and sociological climates within Johnson County communities. It is the desire of the donors to recognize those students who may not have the highest scholastic rankings, but who have the potential to successfully complete college and who could not enroll in a degree program without significant financial assistance. The award will be made in two distributions: one will be made at the beginning of the fall semester and the second at the beginning of the spring semester.
