Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
  3. Must have an SAT score of 1090 or higher (CR+M) or an ACT score of 24 or higher.
  4. Must attend Louisiana Tech University.
  5. Must be a graduate of Dubach High School, LA.
  6. Must be an admitted incoming freshman.
  7. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Description: This award is for students who are graduates of Dubach High School, LA, and plan to attend Lousiana Tech University. The student must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher, and an ACT score of 24 or higher or a SAT score of 1090 or higher to be eligible.

Additional Information: This scholarship is part of the LTU academic scholarships program. Academic scholarships are awarded on the basis of demonstrated ability, usually without regard for need.

Award Amount: $800 annually, non-renewable. This award is applied to the fall quarter only.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $800.

Scholarship information is available online on the Louisiana Tech University (LTU) website by clicking on the "General Scholarships" link. To be considered for the scholarship, students must apply for admission to LTU. Admissions information is available online at admissions.latech.edu/apply/index.php. In addition to a completed admissions application, the student must submit the following: the required application fee; standardized testing scores, sent directly from the testing agency or on an official transcript; an official high school transcript, which must show graduation date, grade point average, and class rank; and official transcripts for all dual enrollment courses completed, if applicable (unless dual enrollment completed at LTU). The student must apply for admission by the priority deadline of Jan. 5 of his/her senior year to be considered for this scholarship. For scholarship purposes, standardized test scores through the December test date will be accepted.
