Number of Awards & Eligibility: one award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend a college or university in Missouri.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  5. Must be pursuing a career in concrete design, materials, or construction.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for undergraduate students in Missouri who are majoring in and/or planning to pursue a career in construction, architecture, or another field related to concrete.

Application requirements for the Luke and Billie Snell Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Copy of transcripts
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: This scholarship is provided in honor of long-time chapter members Luke Snell and Billie Snell, and seeks to promote the development of future engineers, construction managers, and architects.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

Applications and information about this award are available on the Missouri Chapter of the American Concrete Institute at the address provided above. In addition to the completed application form, students must submit the following items as supplementary documents: a copy of transcripts for all educational institutions attended and credits attempted; two letters of recommendation, with at least one written by a faculty member; and a letter of enrollment or acceptance proving attendance in an undergraduate program. All applications and supporting documents must be received by the deadline date. Email submissions are preferred and encouraged.
