Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Maine.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  4. Must plan to study for a career in outdoor recreation.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must be a college freshman or older to apply for this undergraduate award.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is for Maine undergradute students who plan to study for a career in outdoor recreation. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Applications are available by contacting the Maine Campground Owners Association using the contact information provided. In addition to a completed application, the student must submit: a typed essay of 300 words or less describing why he/she is applying for this scholarship and how that relates to his/her career goals; and a current transcript. Completed applications must be received by the deadline date.
