The Meninak Club is dedicated to the advancement of the community's youth, and is the city's premier association of business, civic, governmental and military leaders. Membership is open to qualified individuals who are of good character, good community standing and good professional reputation. The purpose of the club is to enhance spiritual values, to serve youth, to stimulate active and intelligent interests in public affairs and to foster the highest ethical standards in business, that there may always be honor, integrity and mutual advantage in their dealings with one another. Selection is based on leadership, financial need, and academic potential. The Meninak Grants will be awarded in mid-April. Recipients will be honored at a luncheon, where they will be asked to speak. Additionally, the award will be announced at the recipients' schools with a display plaque presented to the high school. Students should advise of any schedule conflicts upon receipt of application.
