Number of Awards & Eligibility: Five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of New Jersey.
  3. Must resident within the Monk's Home Improvements service area.
  4. Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student.
  5. Must be enrolled or plan to enroll full time.

Description: This award is for New Jersey high school seniors and undergraduate students who reside in the Monk's Home Improvements service area.

Application requirements for the Monk’s Home Improvement Service Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Essay
  • Interview
Additional Information: The student must be available for an in-person awards ceremony that will take place at the Monks Home Improvements headquarters in Morristown, NJ.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.

Applications are available on the Monks home Improvements website. The student must complete the online application and submit an essay (5,000 characters or less) that addresses how he/she has made a difference in his/her community through service activities and leadership roles. The student must not include any personal identifying information in the essay (such as his/her name) or the application will be disqualified. The online application and essay must be submitted by the deadline date.
