Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
  3. Must be currently enrolled in an engineering or engineering technology curriculum which has been accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (or comparable accreditation in Canada and Mexico) and have an interest in railway engineering.
  4. Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Engineering students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and have an interest in railway engineering. Priority will be given to students attending Clarkson University in New York.

Additional Information: The AREMA Educational Foundation provides scholarships to engineering students who are specializing in the railway industry and supports other educational and training endeavors that help to ensure the future of the profession. Priority will be given to students attending Clarkson University in New York.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
