Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, all qualified applicants will be considered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be accepted to Niagara University.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.
  5. Must have a SAT score (critical reading & math) of 1280 or higher or an ACT score of 27 or higher.
  6. Must be an incoming first-year freshmen.
  7. Must enroll at a full time status.
  8. Must attend a college in New York state.

Description: This award is available to U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend Niagara University in New York. Recipients of this award must generally have an average GPA above 3.6, a SAT score (critical reading & math) of 1280 or higher, and ACT composites above 27.

Additional Information: Niagara University offers a variety of scholarships and grants for incoming first year students. Scholarship levels are determined at time of initial enrollment and are not upgradable. Scholarship eligibility is based on a combination of high school grade point average and standardized test results (SAT or ACT). To qualify for a Niagara University Presidential Scholarship, students must have: 95% average with an 1220 SAT score (critical reading & math) (26 ACT); or 91% average, 1280 SAT score (critical reading & math) (27 ACT).

Award Amount: Up to $17,000 annually, renewable for three additional years provided the student maintains continuous enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $68,000.
