The CIRI Foundation (TCF)
Up to $2,500 per semester, non-renewable. The award amount is subject to available funds. The check is made payable to the student and the university/school and must be endorsed by the student and the university/school to be valid. Scholarship funds are for tuition, university fees, books, required class supplies, as well as campus housing and meal plans for students who must live away from their permanent home to attend college. Although the recipient may reapply each semester, he/she may instead re-apply yearly.
The number of awards offered annually varies based on the number of qualified applicants.
An Alaska Native applicant for a Ninilchik Native Association, Inc. scholarship/grant who is also an original enrollee or lineal descendant of an original enrollee of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. is also eligible to apply for scholarships, grants and internships that are offered and funded by The CIRI Foundation. Award selections are made by the foundation's Education Awards Committee. The decision of the committee is final. Written notice of selection results will be mailed to applicants. Results are not usually given by the telephone or in person.
