In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a Christian.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  4. Must enroll full time.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher OR rank in the top 25 percent of his/her class.
  6. Must have an ACT score of 25 or higher OR the SAT equivalent.
  7. Must attend Northwestern College in Iowa, a Christian college.
  8. This award is for U.S. students.
  9. Must plan to attend a college or university in Iowa.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. students who have an ACT score of 25 (or SAT equivalent) and a grade point average of 3.25 or rank in the top 25 percent of their class are automatically eligible to receive this award upon admissino to Northwestern College in Iowa.

Additional Information: Additional financial aid is available for most Northwestern College students, and complete aid packages are based on individual factors like family income (as detailed on your FAFSA) as well as participation in varsity athletics or the fine arts.

Award Amount: $12,000 annually, renewable for up to three years as long as the student achieves a 2.75 cumulative grade point average after his/her first year and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average thereafter.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $48,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the Northwestern College website. There is not a separate application for this award. The student will be considered upon admission. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit a $25 application fee (waived if the application is completed online); an evaluation form; transcripts; a response of two or more paragraphs to the questions posed within the application; and ACT/SAT scores. Applications should be submitted by the priority deadline.
