Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually: one for spring semester and one for fall.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. and international students.
  2. Must be accepted to or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program leading to a degree.
  3. Must be majoring in physical science (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.).

Description: The Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program is available for students worldwide who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the sciences.

Additional Information: The Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program was established to assist talented students who wish to pursue a degree in one of the physical sciences. Award selection will be based on a combination of the applicant's academic records, as well as the strength of the personal statement and tweet submissions. Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable. All funds will be paid directly to the college or university that the winner is enrolled at.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.

Applications and additional information about this scholarship can be found online at the Novus Biologicals website. To be considered for this award, students must complete the online application form. Completion of the application requires submission of the following supporting documents: a copy of transcripts for all undergraduate and/or graduate work completed (recently graduating seniors may submit high school trancripts); a personal statement of up to 500 words in length addressing the topic of science and the applicant's associated career interest in the field; and a brief statement/tweet of up to 140 characters in length that describes the applicant's favorite scientific discovery. All applications and supporting materials must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
