Ouachita Baptist University is a church-related, liberal arts university whose aims are to meet the educational needs of students and to prepare students for places of leadership and service. Entering freshmen students will be automatically considered for OBU-University Institutional Scholarships based on the combination of student's high school grade point average and SAT or ACT scores. All merit-based aid is calculated using official test scores from ACT and/or SAT and the grade point average as calculated by the Registrar’s Office.
