In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. Must have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5 or higher.
  3. Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time, but graduate and professional studies students are eligible with part-time enrollment.

Description: The PRCUA awards multiple annual scholarships for the purpose of providing financial assistance to students to earn undergraduate, graduate or professional degrees while actively celebrating their Polish heritage. Only members of the PRCUA are eligible to apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a minimum 2.5 GPA (3.5 on 5-pt scale) who have completed their freshman year by the application deadline. Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time, but graduate and professional studies students are eligible with part-time enrollment. There are no application restrictions based on residency, age, gender, religion, school, major, or finances. Eligible applicants must be a member of the PRCUA, in good standing, for a minimum of five years, and have a minimum of $5,000 of whole life insurance. (Annuity membership does not qualify.) If the member does not meet the five year minimum at the time of application, they may also meet one of the two following standings, three years of membership along with an additional $25,000 in life insurance, or four years of membership along with an additional $15,000 in life insurance.

Additional Information: Interested students will complete an application with short answers and one essay question (500 words maximum). An official school transcript must accompany the application. Applications are due by June 1, with winners announced by August 15 of each year. Award selection is based on a combination of academic records, community service, and involvement with Polish culture and community. All awards will be made payable to the institution rather than to the individual. Scholarships are renewable through the yearly application process. Students may apply each year. However, students may only receive a total of three PRCUA Fraternal Scholarships.

Award Amount: $500-$2000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.
