In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Tennessee.
  3. Must graduate from Anderson County High School in Clinton, Tennessee.
  4. Must enroll full time at an accredited college or university.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  7. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

Additional Information: The R.G. and Ruth Crossno Memorial Scholarship Fund of East Tennessee Foundation was established by the family of the late R.G. Crossno to benefit graduating seniors of Anderson County High School who wish to pursue undergraduate degrees. The award will be based on the applicant's demonstration of financial need, career motivation, academic promise, and evidence of strong work experience.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually for four years  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.

Applications are available on the East Tennessee Foundation website. Prior to starting the application, students must obtain a copy of the East Tennessee Foundation scholarship guide and application instructions. The guide can be obtained online from the East Tennessee Foundation website. Students must review this guide in order to determine if additional supplementary materials may be required in order to complete the application. Applications must be completed online no later than the deadline date.
