Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of recipients for this program varies according to the number of students meeting the eligibility requirements in any given year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate college student.
  4. Must enroll full time.
  5. Must have a sibling who is concurrently enrolled full time at Saint Louis University.
  6. Must attend Saint Louis University in Missouri.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. high school seniors who attend Saint Louis University in Missouri full time and have a sibling also enrolled in the university full time will receive this award upon application.

Additional Information: Any additional siblings also would be eligible for the award, which will be added to any other scholarships or grants a student may be awarded. Students receiving full tuition scholarships (Presidential, Tuition Remission, FACHEX, Tuition Exchange) are not eligible for the family award. A family member for the SLU Family Award is defined as a brother, sister, stepbrother, or stepsister who is related by blood, marriage or legal adoption. Each sibling must be registered in the same Saint Louis University fall and/or spring semester. Each sibling must be classified as a dependent undergraduate within the same household as defined on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Although the FAFSA is not required, it is recommended. Additional documentation may be requested to verify eligibility such as, federal tax returns, health insurance cards, etc.

Award Amount: $3,000 annually ($1,500 in the fall and spring semesters), renewable as long as multiple siblings remain full-time undergraduate students, annual completion of the family award application and by maintaining a 2.0 grade point average.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $12,000.
