Number of Awards & Eligibility: Six scholarships are offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must plan to enroll full-time.
  4. Must be a middle school or high school student.

Description: This scholarship is for U.S. middle school, high school and undegraduate students. Students must be 23 years old or younger to apply.

Application requirements for the Science and Sanatan Dharma Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Resume
  • Unofficial Transcript
Additional Information: The purpose of this scholarship program is to promote independent research focusing on the scientific and rational foundation of the Sanatan (Hindu) Dharma and Vedic philosophy.

Award Amount: $201 for high school students and $151 for middle school students.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $176.

The application deadline date has not yet been finalized for this year, but is expected to remain the same as last year. The deadline date shown here is tentative based on last year's date. Please check back in July for a refreshed application deadline date. Applications are available on the provider's website. Students must submit an application form, as well as a paragraph summarizing their community service, a trascript or most recent report card, a resume and an essay (1000 words or less) addressing the topic listed on the provider's website. All necessary documentation must be submitted in PDF form via email to [email protected] by the deadline date.
