The monetary award amount varies according to the availability of funds. The scholarship is a minimum of $750 annually, non-renewable. Students may reapply each year that they meet the eligibility requirements and reach the next class level.
The number of awards offered varies annually and depends on the amount of funds available to be disbursed. Please note: A minimum of three scholarships are awarded annually, one for incoming freshmen, one for existing students, and one for either.
Scholarship selection criteria are based on the following: 60 percent, academic; 20 percent, extracurricular activities; and 20 percent, community service. The applicant's FSU legacy status is not considered in the selection process.
