Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must be an active participant in horse related sporting events such as barrel racing, roping, rodeo, jumping, 3 day events, dressage, or gymkhana.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Southwestern Tack Scholarship program is available for U.S. undergraduate students who have been active participants in horse-related sporting activities such as barrel racing, roping, rodeo, jumping, 3 day events, dressage, or gymkhana.

Application requirements for the Southwestern Tack College Participation Scholarship Program are:

  • Application form
  • Proof of enrollment
  • Proof of equestrian participation OR a related major
Additional Information: The Southwestern Tack Scholarship program is available for U.S. students who have been active participations in horse related sporting activities. Group 2 applications are available for current undergraduates who recently participated in such horse-related sporting events.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
