Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Nebraska.
  3. Must attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior or first time undergraduate.
  5. Must demonstrate knowledge and experience with people from diverse communities and backgrounds.

Description: U.S. graduating high school seniors who are residents of Nebraska and plan to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln are eligible for this award.

Application requirements for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Davis-Chambers Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Davis-Chambers Scholarship recognizes academically promising students that have knowledge and experience in a diverse environment or community.

Award Amount: Awards range between $2,000 and the full cost of attendance annually, renewable for three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $40,000.

Applications are available from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln website. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit ACT/SAT scores and transcripts. A student must also submit the FAFSA. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. Applications must be submitted by the deadline date.
