Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, all qualified applicants will be considered if sufficient funds are available.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must attend one of the 16 constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina: Appalachian State University, East Carolina University, Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, North Carolina A & T State University, North Carolina Central University, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina-Greensboro, University of North Carolina-Asheville, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, University of North Carolina-Charlotte, University of North Carolina-Pembroke, University of North Carolina-Wilmington, Western Carolina University, or Winston-Salem State University.
  3. Must be a resident of North Carolina.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior at time of application.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must enroll in six or more credit hours per semester.
  7. Must demonstrate financial need.
