Georgia Student Finance Commission
The award provides full assistance for four years of study at UNG to cover the cost of tuition, fees, on-campus room and board charges, uniforms, and an allowance for books and supplies. Recipients must agree to serve as soldiers in the Georgia Army National Guard while in the Corps of Cadets at UNG. Upon graduation, recipients accept commissions as second lieutenants and serve not less than four additional years in the Georgia Army National Guard. Recipients must maintain eligibility for the scholarship during the four years at UNG by maintaining full-time enrollment status; maintaining required academic standards; participating fully in the ROTC program; maintaining membership in the Georgia Army National Guard; and demonstrating any required qualities as determined by his/her officer.
