In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must enroll as a full time student.
  2. Must be accepted to Wilmington College as a first time freshmen student.
  3. Must be a high school Junior or older.
  4. This award is for U.S students.
  5. Must have a parent, step-parent, or grandparent who is a Wilmington College graduate - or a sibling who is currently enrolled at Wilmington College.

Description: This award is for U.S. high school students who are planning to attend Wilmington College in Ohio. The student must have a parent, step-parent, or grandparent who is a Wilmington College graduate, or have a sibling who is currently attending Wilmington College.

Application requirements for the Wilmington College Legacy Award are:

Additional Information: Wilmington College is an independent, co-educational, four-year, career-oriented, liberal arts college founded in 1870 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.

To apply, students must apply for admission to Wilmington College (WC). A separate scholarship application is not required. Interested students must contact Wilmington College admissions by phone, e-mail, mail, or website to request an application packet, or apply online from the college website. Information regarding the Legacy relationship must be included on the Application for Admission. The deadlines to apply for admission to Wilmington College are as follows: August 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester. Scholarship priority is given to students who apply by March 15.
