The WinShape Centre Scholarship Program is the founding program of the WinShape Foundation. The program was created by S. Truett Cathy, Founder and CEO of Chick-fil-A, Inc., for the purpose of 'Shaping Individuals to be Winners.' The WinShape Foundation is looking for people who are committed to a moral lifestyle, involved in community service and leadership, have a desire to experience spiritual growth and academic achievement, and possess a strong work ethic. Priority is given to those who have worked for Chick-fil-A. WinShape students are expected to abide by the Berry College Student Handbook as a minimum code of conduct, live in the WinShape dorms (no married students), have no involvement with drugs or alcohol for the duration of membership in the scholarship program, attend a weekly meeting, and make every effort to be a positive influence in the community. After the applicant has been accepted to Berry, he/she must wait for a letter from the WinShape Centre stating whether or not he/she is invited to interview for the scholarship. Less than half of the applicants are invited to interview. All award applicants are notified of the interview decision by April 1.
The applicant must fill out the online form on the WinShape Centre website or contact the WinShape Centre by phone at the number provided to request an application packet. In order to be eligible for ... sign up for full scholarship deadline information.
