Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must posses an active amateur radio license (general class or higher).
  3. Must be 22 years or younger as of June 1 of the year of the grant.
  4. Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a two- or four-year program.
  5. Must reside AND attend college within 175 miles of the Yankee Clipper Contest Club in Erving, MA. Detailed information about the YCCC territory is available online at www.yccc.org/About/territory.htm.

Description: The Yankee Clipper Contest Club Youth Scholarship is available for students 22 years of age or younger (as of June 1) and are licensed radio amateurs with a general class license or higher. Students must reside and attend college within 175 miles of the Yankee Clipper Contest Club, which is located in Erving, MA.

Additional Information: The Yankee Clipper Contest Club Youth Scholarship is available for U.S. students who are 22 years of age or younger as of June 1 of the application year. Applicants must have an active amateur radio license and must attend a college within 175 miles of the Yankee Clipper Contest Club in Erving, Massachusetts. Recipients are typically notified by mid-May by USPS mail and email.

Award Amount: $1,200 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,200.
