Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship awarded annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  4. Must be enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  6. Must be a resident of Duval or Nassau counties in Florida to apply.
  7. Must be a single parent with a child under age 18.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available to single parents attending Florida State College at Jacksonville. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and must be residents of Duval or Nassau counties in Florida.

Additional Information: This award was established by Dr. Steven Wallace, the college president. The applicant must be pursuing an associate in arts or associate in science degree and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Award Amount: Up to $2,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

The form can be accessed through the student's web account by clicking on the 'Scholarships' link in the right side of his/her homepage.
