This scholarship is available for U.S. students who have a passion for audio electronics such as DJ equipment, car audio systems, headphones, etc. Applicants must plan to pursue a related career in electrical, mechanical, or automotive engineering.

Avonte Oquendo Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who have been, or who have a family member who has been, diagnosed with a form of autism (including Asperger Syndrome). Students must submit an essay on an autism-related topic to be considered.

U.S. undergraduate students who are of Armenian descent and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must demonstrate financial need and participate in Aremnian community service.

Platt Family Scholarship Prize Essay Contest

International and U.S. full-time students attending a U.S. college are eligible to enter this essay contest. Students must have been enrolled in college during the spring 2015 semester to be eligible.

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund

This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are the dependent child of a U.S. soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or guardsman who was killed or permanently disabled (100 percent rating) as a result of an operational mission or training accident, OR a dependent child of a soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, or guardsman who is currently classified as a POW or MIA. Students must be 26 years of age or younger.

This scholarship is open to students who attend or have attended a Forsyth County (NC) high school and reside in the Winston-Salem Foundation's service area.
