Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  2. Must be currently enrolled or in enrollment process at an accredited university, college, or trade school within the United States.
  3. Must be pursuing a degree and demonstrate a desire and potential to help individuals and families struggling with addiction.

Description: Recovery Centers of America employees and their immediate families are NOT eligible for this scholarship. Funds must be used to pay for expenses for the 2020-2021 academic year. A 750 – 1,000-word essay on the topic posted on the provided site and short bio is required.

Additional Information: Recovery Centers of America (RCA) launched a scholarship program to encourage students to do their part in the fight against the addiction crisis affecting the nation. The RCA Hope for Addiction Scholarship financially assist undergraduate and graduate students pursuing their education with the intention of helping those struggling with addiction. Students of all majors are encouraged to apply especially those in recovery themselves.

Award Amount: The winner of this scholarship will receive $1,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
