Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards given varies.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S citizens or permanent resident or an individual granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA).
  2. Must be a full time student.
  3. Must be a sophomore or higher in a postsecondary educational institution.
  4. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Description: The Dream Award recipients must have completed at least their first year of their college education, have a significant financial need, and have overcome obstacles through sheer determination. Dream Award Scholars follows their passions in industries such as science, language, social justice, entrepreneurship or public service.

Additional Information: Applicants for the 2021-22 Dream Award must: • Be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents (holders of a Permanent Resident card), or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA). • Have received a high school diploma or the equivalent from a U.S. school by September 2020. • Have completed or expect to successfully complete a minimum of one full year of postsecondary education by June 2021. • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at the sophomore year level or higher at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2021-22 academic year. • Be studying to obtain an associate’s or first bachelor’s degree. • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). • Demonstrate financial need.

Award Amount: Up to $1,000 scholarships offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
