Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually based on the number of eligible students.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend Wingate University.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must enroll as a full-time undergraduate student.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher from previous colleges.
  6. Must have a minimum of 24 transferable credits.

Additional Information: Academic Scholarships are awarded to qualified undergraduate applicants who have been admitted to Wingate University's Main Campus. After admission to the University, the academic credentials of each student are reviewed to determine scholarship eligibility. Students are notified of their scholarship award by the Office of Admissions.

Award Amount: Awards range from $10,000 to $15,000 annually and are renewable for a maximum of four years of undergraduate study. Recipients must maintain satisfactory progress standards as outlined by the individual scholarship criteria.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $70,000.
