This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who attend Forsyth County (NC) high schools and plan to attend an accredited four-year North Carolina college/university. Students must have an unweighted grade point average of 3.5 or higher and demonstrate some financial need.

Clearwater, Inc. – Robert M. Wilkinson Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is open to U.S. incoming college freshmen who are studying engineering or science with a concentration in the water environment at one of the University of North Carolina campuses. Students must reside in North Carolina and have a grade point average greater than 3.0.

Les and Elaine Hall Water Environmental Stewardship Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is for U.S. undergraduate students who are rising juniors studying engineering with a concentration in the water environment at one of the University of North Carolina campuses. Students must reside in North Carolina and have a grade point average of greater than 3.0.

Carol Bond Fund/Lynn & Lars Balck Water Env. Stewardship Fund/Rivers & Assoc. Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. college students who are rising juniors pursuing a degree in engineering with a concentration in the water environment at one of the University of North Carolina campuses. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Environmental Manufacturer’s Representative Scholarship Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate students who are studying engineering with a concentration in the water environment at a University of North Carolina campus. Students must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

NC Safewater Fund/GHD Clean Water Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. students who are first-year graduate students studying engineering with a concentration in the water environment in an ABET-accredited engineering curriculum at a University of North Carolina campus. Students must be residents of North Carolina and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Golden LEAF Scholars Program

This scholarship is open to high school seniors and community college transfer students who reside in qualifying North Carolina counties and plan to attend a participating four-year North Carolina institution. All applicants must demonstrate financial need; grade point average will also be considered in the selection process.

LITA/LSSI Minority Scholarship in Library and Information Technology

U.S. and Canadian citizens who will have earned no more than 12 hours towards a Master of Library Science degree by June of the award year are eligible for this award. Students must be members of a principal minority group; attend an ALA-accredited school; and plan to enter the library automation field.
