I really enjoyed my years at Lincoln College with the help of me improving my study habits I increased my GPA from 1.25 to a 3.07 with the aid of some of professors. I didn't really have a issue with the faculty at all, and the Academic Success Center is very useful there.
A lot of the teachers are rude, and the cops are on campus so often it's annoying. Truly a zoo of a school not worth it academically speaking.
My overall opinion of Lincoln College is that it is a great school to earn your Associates in but then you should transfer to another school in order to further your education. Overall, it is a school designed to help you get your associates not a school designed to help you get a major.
The college is a very fun campus. Not because of parties or anything like that. It is because it is very involved. You can easily create your own groups, and there are a lot of free resources out there for the students. Its a very relaxed and happy environment.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Lincoln College is 62%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would sit down with myself, look myself in the eyes and say "You are going to be ok but you need to put more of an effort into what you do. Actions speak louder then words, so follow through with your choices. If you really are passionate about something go for it, otherwise talk about what you're not interested in and seek career counseling. Lincoln College in Lincoln IL, is a great place for you to start. Yes there is a lot of work to be done but there are a plethora of resources avialble to help you succeed. Please dont give up if you fail or make one simple mistake. Get up and set several alarms. Most importantly: DO THIS FOR YOU!!!"
Probably the fact that it is such a small school therefore, everyone knows each person's personal business. It also gets very annoying that rumors are so easily started and believed at L.C. To be blunt, I'm rather embarassed to be a student at L.C. However, it was the only school I appied to: I feared the rejection from other schools.
lincoln college is a small college which is surounded by bigger colleges and university's like Illinois Weslyan, and Illinois State.
our student body is very diverse there isnt just one type of person who should attend.
it is easy.
I believe the most frustrating thing about my school is unequal treatment for certain sports.
My school is best known for Theatre Majors, in which it is considered a 4-year institution, and athletics.
The best thing about Lincol College is probably the how easy it is to get help on your work and how much the teachers will work with you if you just ask. There are accomodations for students with documented disabilities, free tutoring for virtually every subject, and teachers will take time to help you one on one if you take the time to ask. The work load is always managable and I believe anyone can do well here if they put in the work.
