National Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship

This award is available to students who are studying in a medical, dental, nursing, public health, or policy program, and are of Hispanic descent or display strong commitment to the health of the Hispanic community.

Albert E. and Florence W. Newton Nursing Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. students currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program who have financial need. Preference is given to residents of Rhode Island.

Sirop Family Scholarship Fund

This award is available for U.S. high school seniors and adult students entering their freshman year who are residents of the Connecticut Community Foundation’s 21-town service area. Students must major in nursing and have a grade point average of B- or higher.

Naomi Brack Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. college sophomores who are pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing. Students must be a member of a local, state, or national student nurse association and actively participate in the association, and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Waterbury Women’s Club Scholarship Fund

This award is available for U.S. high school seniors and adult students who are entering their freshman year that reside in the Connecticut Community Foundation’s 21-town service area. Students must plan to major in nursing and have a grade point average of B- or higher.

Donald & Ruth Agnes Kaplan Memorial Scholarship Fund

This award is available for U.S. female high school seniors and adult students who are entering their freshman year of college who have been residents of one of the following Connecticut cities for the past four years: Cheshire, Naugatuck, Prospect, Waterbury, Watertown, or Woodbury. Anita C. Behan Scholarship Fund

This award is available for U.S. high school seniors and adult students entering their freshman year as first-time students who are residents of Waterbury, Connecticut. Students must major in a health-related field and have a grade point average of B- or higher.
