The HoustonMovers.com Scholarship

HoustonMovers.com is passionate about helping newcomers discover what an amazing city their hometown of Houston is. For their $500 annual scholarship, they invite participants to submit an essay of 500–750 words describing their own hometowns, what makes them unique, and why they love living there. Eligible participants are graduating US high school seniors or undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA above 3.0 over the previous school year.

2020 Out-of-the-Box Thinking Scholarship

Applicants must be current students at an accredited university, community college, certificate program, graduate school, or equivalent institute within the United States. High school students enrolling in 2020 are also eligible. Winners will be asked to submit verification of their student status (transcript, letter of acceptance, course list with your name, or equivalent).

This scholarship is open to any US citizen or permanent US resident who will be enrolled in fall 2020 in an accredited community college or university (undergraduate or graduate), earning credits toward a degree (associate, baccalaureate, or graduate).

Overcoming Obstacles Scholarship

The Overcoming Obstacles Scholarship is open to any current high school senior, college student or graduate student enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the United States. Candidates for this scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.

Urban Outfitters & Fujifilm Scholarship

Urban Outfitters is awarding up to $20,000 in scholarships to 53 winners. One Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000 while two additional winners will receive $5,000 each. The remaining 50 runner-ups will each win a Fujifilm Instax Mini Link (Smartphone Printer) and one box of ten photo sheets. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents of the United States who are 16 and older. Winners announced on or around November 20, 2020.

Walmart Associate Scholarship

This award is for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who have been employed by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. as an associate for at least six consecutive months. The student must have financial need and be able to prove such need via required documentation.
