International Studies Abroad (ISA) offers Diversity Scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 to bring the benefits of a global education to historically underserved student populations (race, ethnicity, gender, first generation, disabled students may qualify).

AIFS Generation Study Abroad Scholarship
Applicants must meet the minimum requirements for the program to which they are applying and have at least a 3.0 GPA or higher. There are three deadlines: fall, spring, and summer semester. Fund for Education Abroad
Up to $10,000 are offered for students who plan to study abroad for a full academic year; $5,000 for students who plan to study abroad during the fall or spring semester; and awards that are prorated by number of weeks in-country for studying abroad in summer $1,250. Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship
The Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship is awarded biannually to passionate students who want to explore the world! The winner will receive 1 travel backpack, and a $1,000 scholarship. Applicants must be full time undergraduates and accepted into a study abroad program at an accredited institution in the U.S.
USAC Honors Program Scholarship
This scholarship is available to University of Nevada, Reno Honors Program students. Students must be in good standing, participate in a program of at least 3 weeks in length, have completed at least 15 Honors credits and 32 total credits and be pursuing Honors credit through the study abroad experience.
USAC College-Specific Scholarship
This scholarship is available to University of Nevada, Reno students with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher, and your application will be reviewed by the home college(s) of your declared major(s). Multiple awards are available each term. Click here to learn more and apply today!

USAC First Gen NV Scholarship
This scholarship is available to current UNR TRiO Scholars and current/former UNR First in the Pack participants at the University of Nevada, Reno, have not previously studied abroad in college, and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must also attend a study abroad workshop prior to the application deadline in order to be considered.
R.J. Simcoe Memorial Scholarship
University of Nevada, Reno students who are Nevada residents, hold a minimum 2.75 GPA, and are attending any Spain program are eligible. Eligible students must also have completed their MyNevada General Scholarship Application by February 1. Two $500 awards will be given each fall.
Frances C. and William P. Smallwood Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is available to University of Nevada, Reno students who hold a 3.0 GPA or higher, graduated from a Carson City, Douglas, or Washoe County high school, are first-generation and/or demonstrate high financial need (EFC under $8000), and have completed their MyNevada General Scholarship Application by February 1.
